The 46-year-old actor is working on a jazz album with the help of Bruce Springsteen and Sting, according to Star magazine.
The tabloid says that Robert is “working on an album of electro-jazz, and he’s been recording songs for a follow-up to his 2005 record, The Futurist. He’s been laying down tracks for an album he hopes to release in 2012. He’s been brainstorming with Sting and Bruce Springsteen.”
We reached out to Robert’s rep, who said: “No idea but nothing imminent for sure. This came from his recent performance at The Beacon with Sting.”
